Chris Northmore CMPC

       Chris Northmore is the executive pastry chef at the Everglades Club in Palm Beach, Florida. Chef Northmore was previously the Executive Pastry Chef at Cherokee Town and Country Club in Atlanta Georgia. A private club of 2400 members supporting 4 dinning outlets and banquet facilities. He is one of three Certified Master Pastry Chefs certified by the American Culinary Federation, receiving this honor in 1994. Additional highlights of his career include serving as Pastry Chef of the World Championship winning U.S. Culinary Olympic Team receiving 3 gold medals at the Culinary Olympics held in Frankfurt Germany in 1988, additional gold medals with the U.S. team in Basil Switzerland; and the American Culinary Classic in Chicago, Illinois. He has won numerous other medals and awards for his desserts and centerpieces throughout his career in Georgia and the United States.
     Pastry Arts/ Chocolatier Magazine nominated Chef Northmore as one of Americas Top 10 Pastry Chefs in America 1994 and Omni Hotel Corporation nominated him Pastry Chef of The Year 1986.
     He has appeared on PBS televisions' Great Chefs of the South television series and been featured in publications such as Art Culinaire, Restaurant and Institutions, Club Management, Grand Finales; The Art of Plated Desserts, and The Culinary Review.
     Northmore is a graduate of the Culinary Institute Of America and has held positions at luxury hotels such as The Fairmont, Parker House Hotel, and Omni International Hotels prior to joining the team at Cherokee Town and Country Club.
